Health and Safety Guidelines for services & programming at CBI

We are pleased to share these updated guidelines for services and programming at
Congregation Beth Israel effective June 15th.

  • Advance registration and health screenings are no longer required to attend services.
  • There is no longer a limited attendance capacity.
  • Social distanced seating will not be required in the sanctuary pews.
  • Social distanced seating will continue to be available in the social hall for those who would like.
  • We continue to strongly encourage everyone to be vaccinated as quickly as possible. COVID-19 vaccines are currently available for anyone over the age of 12. Anyone who needs assistance scheduling a vaccine appointment can contact the CBI office.
  • In order to be inclusive of everyone in our community, including children under the age of 12, masks are still required for everyone while attending indoor services or coming into the building.
  • For services and events taking place outdoors, masks are not required for vaccinated individuals but are recommended for people who are not vaccinated.
  • During the summer months we will plan to hold Friday night services and Sunday morning minyans outdoors whenever weather permits.

These policies will remain in place until further notice. Our Health and Safety Committee will continue to monitor changing conditions and guidance as necessary.
