Pre-K and K-2 Program

K’Tonton / Pre-Kindergarten

The K’tonton / Pre-K program is open to children who will be three and four years old by October 1st. The class meets ten Sundays throughout the year. The major focus of the year is holiday oriented. The holidays and Shabbat are taught through stories, singing, puppetry, cooking, dance and rhythms, dramatics and arts & crafts. The class meets monthly on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am.  Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade

Our Kindergarten – 2nd grade program meets weekly on Sundays from 9:00-11:00 am. Each year builds on the previous one, as the students begin to recognize the Hebrew letters, add vowels and sounds and begin to decode simple Hebrew words. The students are also introduced to all the holidays, the weekly Torah portion and various Mitzvot.   Each class is hands-on incorporating drama, art, cooking and music.

 Synagogue Membership is Not Required For These Classes!
