Ruth Margolin

Ruth B. Margolin –

Vice President

Ruth has lived in Westfield for over 30 years, and she and her husband, Michael, have been members of CBI for most of that time.  Their three children went to Solomon Schechter and then CBI Akiba Academy, and they all became USY board members.  Ruth has worked in Jewish education (at Hillel, in teen work, directing a synagogue school, and directing a day school) for many years and has now dived fully into volunteer work.  In her spare time, she creates crossword puzzles that you may have seen in the NY Times.

Mitch Siegel – Treasurer

Mitch Siegel grew up living next door to his Rabbi, attended Camp Ramah, and was quite active in USY. Mitch attended USY International Conventions as well as participating in the USY on Wheels and Israel Pilgrimage programs.   Mitch and his wife Lauren joined CBI almost immediately after moving to Westfield 25 years ago. Their daughter Deborah and son Jordan grew up at CBI, were both quite active in USY, attended USY International Conventions, Camp Ramah, and both the USY on Wheels and Israel Pilgrimage programs.   Do you see a pattern here?  Now that Mitch and Lauren are empty nesters, you can find them both on the golf course or vacationing while visiting wineries, distilleries and craft breweries. Do you see pattern here?  Mitch is a Tax Partner with RSM; he specializes in International Taxation.
